Who We Are Board of Directors NCAPDA’s Board consists of individuals who are committed to preventing prescription drug misuse and abuse that can lead to addiction and overdose deaths. Most also perform staff roles in running NCAPDA’s operations. April Rovero – Founder/Executive Director April retired from Lucent Technologies as a National Program Management Director in 2001 after a 30-year career in telecommunications. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and a Masters Certificate in Program Management from Stephen’s Institute of Technology. ¡La Naloxona Puede Salvar Vidas! ¿Qué es la Naloxona? La naloxona es un medicamento que puede revertir rápidamente una sobredosis de analgésicos recetados o formas ilícitas de opioides como la heroína y el fentanilo. Analgésicos (opioides) Medicamentos comúnmente recetados: Codeine, OxyContin, Percocet y Vicodin. ¿Cómo se utilizan? Médicamente, se prescriben como analgésicos, para tratar el dolor. Cuando se abusa, se ingieren o se inyectan.  ¿Cuáles son sus efectos a corto plazo? Alivio del dolor.
