Lights of Hope
The Sacramento California Chapter of The Addict’s Mom (TAM) is proud to announce our first annual campaign “Lights of Hope.” TAM, in conjunction with local community members and support from the National Coalition Against Prescription Drug Abuse, honors, supports and instills HOPE in those whose lives have been shattered by addiction.
We invite you to join us for a candle lighting vigil and to hear guest speakers, Michele Zumwalt, an addiction survivor and author, and April Rovero, Founder of the National Coalition Against Prescription Drug Abuse.
Where: Foothills Community Park 5510 Diablo Drive, Sacramento, CA 95842
Date: September 9th, 2017
Time: 5:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
Parking: Limited parking, carpooling is suggested
Keynote speaker, Michele Zumwalt, will begin at 6:00 p.m.
Will include book signing by Michele with proceeds benefiting local recovery

*A white candle represents a person in recovery, a red candle represents those in active addiction, a black candle represents those we have lost and a gray candle represents those incarcerated as a result of addiction.
