Help NCAPDA tackle our nation’s prescription drug related overdose epidemic. Clean out your medicine cabinets of expired and unwanted medications and take them to your nearest drop off location on Saturday, October 26th between 10am and 2pm. Visit the DEA’s website to find the drop off location nearest you. Spread the word! Ask your family members, neighbors and friends to do the same.
When you shop on Amazon on Cyber Monday (12/2/19) and throughout the holiday season, don’t forget to go to Amazon Smile where you can purchase almost everything offered at the regular Amazon site. Choose NCAPDA as your charity and Amazon will donate a percent of your purchase to us. It doesn’t cost you a penny more! You can continue to contribute in this way throughout the year, too. Go directly to smile.amazon.com or you can also visit our website to get started https://ncapda.org/get-involved /donate/
Please consider donating to NCAPDA on Giving Tuesday this coming Tuesday. We have been in operation since 2009, working daily to tackle America’s prescription drug/opioid related overdose death epidemic. Donations will also go to support the Contra Costa County MEDS Coalition in the San Francisco Bay Area that NCAPDA serves as the fiscal sponsor for (http://www.cccmedscoalition.org).
The cornerstone of our work is community education and our naloxone overdose rescue program. Please help us keep this vital work going this coming year by donating whatever you can afford. Every $$ helps!

Join NCAPDA for this FREE Naloxone Training on December 9th. Learn the signs of overdose and how to administer life-saving Naloxone. FREE Narcan rescue kits (spray version of Nalxoone) will be available to those who participate in this training. If you live in the San Francisco Bay Area, please contact NCAPDA at 925-480-7723 or firstname.lastname@example.org if you’re unable to attend the training but are in need of a kit and can’t afford to purchase one on your own.
Please note: Most pharmacies in California and in many other states provide Naloxone over-the-counter and most insurance companies cover it.
We invite parents, teachers and others who work with adolescents to join us for an interactive, engaging evening of learning. Includes a panel discussion, real life display of a teen bedroom, info booths, naloxone overdose rescue training and FREE Narcan (spray version of naloxone) for those who want to take a rescue kit home.
