Education 4 Action @ Virtual

Prescription drugs are strong contributors to America’s growing overdose epidemic. This session provides vital information about commonly prescribed medications that can be potentially addictive and dangerous even when taken as prescribed. Opioid overdose rescue training is included.

Suitable for youth 12 to 18 years and a must attend for parents and caregivers of teens.

Join us as NCAPDA’s Youth Ambassadors announce the winners of our latest Life’s Too Good To Be Wasted contests and spotlight the artists and their winning art and videos.

Next, the CourAGE youth team will share vital prescription drug safety information that includes opioid overdose rescue training that can help you save the life of a friend, family member or even a stranger.

Stay to the end of this session to test what you’ve learned through our Kahoot contest.  Prizes awarded for the top three Kahoot winners!

Hip Hop 4 Action @ Virtual Zoom Session

Learn how Hip Hop music can be used to express feelings, experiences and points of view.  Music Notes will demonstrate how Hip Hop can even be used to fight back against powerful businesses, pop culture and other music forms that target youth with potentially harmful and even dangerous messaging.

You’ll learn about upcoming FREE workshops where you will learn how to create and produce your own song that pushes back on negative youth influencers.

Join us for a unique opportunity to learn about prescription drug safety through Improv!

Act II Improv will be teaming up with youth volunteers in this performance to build awareness that we hope will inspire you to take easy action steps to protect those you care about from getting caught up in America’s substance use disorder and overdose death epidemic.

Funny Bones Productions is donating their time and considerable talent to hold this fundraising event to support NCAPDA’s vital community education programs. While there is no registration fee to attend, donations made in any amount to NCAPDA are very much appreciated.
