Catherine Martin is an amazing artist from Apex, NC whose Opioid Awareness Project NCAPDA has the honor of supporting. Catherine paints portraits from photos provided to NCAPDA of lost loved ones whose lives were cut short in some way by opioids, either prescription painkillers or illegal opioids such as heroin and fentanyl.
These beautiful portraits serve to bring comfort to those left behind while raising awareness about the tragic impact our nation’s opioid epidemic is having on communities across America.
Every one of these losses was avoidable. We MUST work together to educate youth and adults in every community and change policies and legislation to bring this crisis under control.
If you would like to have Catherine paint a portrait of your loved one, please send a high quality photo along with his/her name and age and a mailing address to firstname.lastname@example.org.
While there is no charge for these portraits, donations to NCAPDA are very much appreciated and help us continue our support of this very special project.
